My friend had 3 of 4 window lifts fail... the cable comes of the pullies and damages the plastic pully tracks. They're not repairable We bought new window lifts for iton the web. They're not too hard to replace. The aftermarket ones had crumby motors so we put the original motors off the broken lifts on. They've worked great since.

How do you remove and replace a power passenger right side back window in my 94 crown Victoria

Remove inside door handle then the panel. Inside the door you'll see the window tracks and motor. Remove the window from the motor bracket and slide it out. May have to remove a clip or two. Slide new window back in the track and secure it to the motor bracket.

The passenger window in my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer came off its track. How do I place it back on the track?

This is most likely not the track, The window system uses pulleys and cables and the pulleys are plastic and the cable comes off. They are tough to work on. You have to remove the interior door panel. That means getting a door panel tool. Take the screws out that you can see on the arm rests and the trim. Use the door panel tool to locate the plastic panel retainers. They are spaced out on the edges of the door panel. Use the puller to remove them. When the interior panel if removed you can see a plastic sheet that covers the inside mechanics. Remove the sheet and you can see the window parts through the holes in the door. You can then remove the window cranking system. You probably are going to end up replacing the part.

Passenger side window came off trac and is sitting in door

you have to remove the door panel..unbolt the tracking from inside the door..slide the windows back inside the track rails....push window all the way up..tape the window so that id does not fall back down or have someone hold window up while you rebolt the track to the door.replace door panel....the tracks move over time and that it why the window fell.

My grandson knocked the window off track in the rear passenger side and now it makes a grinding noise. Any suggestions other than dont have my grandson in my Mercedes would help!

Remove the inner door panel on that door and but the window back on track. When he knocked it loose he may have damaged the track the window runs up and down. It only cost about $20 for he track and it takes about 30 min to replace if you need to replace it.

The passenger side window fell into the door and will not go back up. Does this sound like the regulator needs to be replaced? The window is definately is not in it's track anymore. How do I remove the...

Not sure about the odyssey but i own an acura integra (honda). The door panel is held on by about three screws, after you remove thoes start at the bottom of the door and pull out the tabs around the door when the door panel is pulled from the door lift it up and away from the door. (it slids in beside the window) then unplug the electrical connectors and set it aside. I recommend 3M's window weld found at autozone, clean out the window track and glass apply some 3M according to the container and put the window back in the track. Roll the wondow all the way up and leave it closed for atleast 24 hours. Put the door panel back on in reverse order from how it came off.

Your power window regulator is broken, you need to replace it by removing the door panel, loosen and remove the bolts to the window glass, removing the power window motor, and than removing the regulator.

Right rear window is off the tracks. How do I remove the panel?

if the window is off track the regulator is probably bad. to remove the door panel should be a couple of screws by the inside pull handle and possibly one by the door handle itself also check the bottom of the door for any then just pull it off and lift up to clear latches and remove plastic film to get to inside of the door

My power window came off track

There are 2 screws just above the door handle you need to remove. Remove the plastic trim around door handle. Then starting at bottom of door panel pull out to disengage the push pin clips and work your way up both sides of panel. Then lift up on door panel to disengage the weatherstip on top of panel.
