Beyond checking power to system components, I recommend you do nothing more...A/C work requires a good gauge set, experience as well as a good evacuation pump. Your problem could be serious, or you may just be low on refrigerant...Though they sell recharge kit, many contain "sealers" that do nothing good for your vehicle and will gum up the expensive equipment used by shops.I'm not against people working on their own cars, or, I wouldn't be here...but this is one area that you can do more harm than good .
