Not Hard at all! You are going to have to Locate the Tensioner (Should be to the Inside of the A/C Compressor and Looks like a Large Wheel with a Arm in the Back going Down to a Smaller Wheel Underneath the Belt Pushing it up) There is a Nut in the Middle of the Large Wheel. Get a Wratchet and Socket and Turn this. It will Lower the Smaller Wheel and let the Tension Off of the Belt, While at that Point Remove the Belt from the Small wheel and Slowly Release the Tensioner. Reverse to Put Back.

Did you try to replace the starter cable? is the Truck turning over or just clicking.? If it's turning over and not starting. Best guess would be one of two things. Knock sensors Located under intake manifold. they get wet and deteriorate or the fuel pump. I've replaced all three on mine. 233k still running strong...

Mark your drive shaft coincidenly with the rear axle and tranny. Remove drive shaft. Press out the old u joints and press in the new. You will need a torch for heat and a lot of patience. Have fun!
