RUNS ROUGH & STRONG SMELL OF PETROL WHEN STOPPED AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS FEELS LIKE IT WANTS TO STOP. WHEN I TAKE IT OUT OF GEAR & GIVE IT SOME ACCELERATORE IT RUNS OKAY.

Is the car using a bit more fuel than usual? It's possible if you ever parked on a large kerb or just normal wear & tear that the fuel line is worn or damaged. It's not a hard fix. Have a look under the engine bay as the car is runnig & see if any fuel is leaking. Leave the car running for a few minutes & see does it leave a small patch of fuel.

first of all you have to check serivce status of car .. like air filter .. etc
do a diagnostic check

it might be something in your air intake system .. sensors .. idle
