Question about 1998 Ford Mustang

AC - no powere at the switch but no issue with fuses

Ac is not working. Need to know which Fuse is for the ac because we are getting no power to the switch. Compressor works fine we just have no power to the switch. There is no showing of this location in the distribution box under the hood nor n the passanger fuse box. Where would the issues be with it not getting any power since there is no issue with it being inside these two locations?

Hi my avanza air con works only went the relay in the fuse box get power from a test prob it don't work when the air con switch Is on in the vehicle

You seem to understand test probe. Try a jumper around the AC switch on the dash. If it works with the jumper, the AC switch is bad. Or power supply to the ac switch is bad, a fuse in line to the AC switch maybe bad.

97 chevy suburban AC clutch won't engage pressures

Looks like the low pressure switch gets power from a 10amp ac fuse. Power then goes to the ac relay which is powered on by the ac heat controller on the dash. Power then goes thru the high pressure switch to the compressor. The ac relay is grounded to the body. Do you have power on the lite and dark green wires going into the relay and is it grounded ?

My husbands 93 park ave ac compressor is not running, when he relplaced the ac relay it worked one time and then no longer works. There doesn't seem to be any power getting to the compressor, could there...

If it has the auto air functions. On the passenger side under glovebox remove the black cover under the dash and there is a hidden fuse block with a ac fuse. Check for this a very common issue. Also if the ac is fully charged you can unplug the low pressure switch located on the accumulator( silver canister located by the relays towards the firewall) and take a wire and place between the two terminals just make sure the compressor will does come on.If the ac is turned on and you jump that switch and the compressor does turn and ac starts working then a good possibilty that the low pressure may be bad. Would check the fuse first.

Maxima ac no good

Some nissans the AC lamp is tied to FUNCTION not FUSE. The lamp is on when the car engages the system and sends power to the compressor. On some the AC lamp will go off if your AC has leaked out and the low pressure safety disengagement has prevented compressor from being powered. Check pressures or check pressure switches.

No power for AC compressor

try removing the plug off the low pressure switch on the accumalator plug a paper clip into the plug and turn ac on if it comes on then your low pressure switch is bad or your low on refigerant.

NO POWER TO AC COMP

Fuse #5 is for your ac.

On the Hi/Low pressure switch conection Terminal 1 and 2 are for AC clutch bridge them briefly to see if clutch engage if so system is low on refrigerent.

If you get cold air its more then likely Hi/Low switch is bad.

Note engine must be running and ac fan in on position.

Good luck
