To get an exact diagnosis of the problem and to get a quote for the repairs, find an accredited brake specialist shop ( preferably one with Renault experience) and make an informed decision from that
A renault tech told me how to reset the electronic parking brake on my grand scenic without going to dealer, this works if you have had to pull the yellow emergency handle in rear which i have had to do this week.
Turn your ignition on without starting engine, have drivers door open and press lock button on keycard
put keycard in reader and press start button for 5 seconds.
pull large part of manual handbrake handle and push small button with red light without letting go of larger handle and you should hear the handbrake motor reset!
Try removing the plastic trim on the steering column, pull off the multi pin plugs on the stick switches and see if that stops them. May be the switch is the cause?
Look under the dash by the parking brake and try to see if any wires are being moved or chafed by the parking brake linkages. That is what I have found in the past.
