It is Fuse # 10 in the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dashboard. You need to open the door to see it.(the fuse panel ) The fuse should be a 7.5 amp fuse. Good luck !

NO HEAT in 2008 chevy equinox

Hot water (coolant ) flows through the heater core all the time , no valve too let coolant into heater core . The amount of heat delivered to the passenger compartment is controlled by opening or closing the air temperature door. The coolant exits the heater core through the heater outlet hose and recirculates back through the engine cooling system.

Temp. blend door actuator is probably the issue . Do you hear any noise behind the instrument panel ?

Tick/click, chirp or groaning

Air Temperature Actuator
The air temperature actuator are 5-wire bi-directional electric motors that incorporate a feedback potentiometer. Low reference, 5-volt reference, position signal, and 2 control circuits enable the actuator to operate. The control circuits use either a 0 or 12-volt value to coordinate the actuator movement. When the actuator is at rest, both control circuits have a value of 0 volts. In order to move the actuator, the HVAC control module grounds one of the control circuits while providing the other with 12 volts. The HVAC control module reverses the polarity of the control circuits to move the actuator in the opposite direction. When the actuator shaft rotates, the potentiometer's adjustable contact changes the door position signal between 0-5 volts.
The HVAC control module uses a range of 0-255 counts to index the actuator position. The door position signal voltage is converted to a 0-255 count range. When the module sets a commanded, or targeted, value, one of the control circuits is grounded. As the actuator shaft rotates the changing position signal is sent to the module. Once the position signal and the commanded value are the same, the module removes power from both control circuits.

Fuse panel diagram blender door

There isn't a fuse for the blend door actuator. It is powered by the A/C control panel. If other door actuators work, replace the actuator.

Vent doors do not move. No heat. Is there a relay or fuse for blender motor?

No, the blend door actuators are either vacuum controlled devices or are tiny motor controlled actuators. There is no separate fuse. If the heater control panel operates normally otherwise, then the fuses for heater controls are good. Look on the heater case under the dash-see any vacuum hoses?

2002 dodge stratus...radio does not work, clock is on and working, but no sound. instaled another factory radio same problem. installed aftermarket radio same problem. fuses checked, all good.

There is more than one fuse for the radio. I know that one controls the power and there is also one for the memory and sometimes they have a third fuse as well. Take a look in your owners manual for the location of the fuses. \hope this helps

1992 lexus ls400 heater acuator

Yes near the passenger side of the car close to the floor is the actuator, it is about 6 inches away from your blower motor closer to the center of the car, there are three screws holding it in and one is very difficult. Once you pull it out you can turn the door by hand, just have the heat blowing when you do it so you know when you have it on heat. after you have done this to get heat fixed for now watch your actuator as you turn it from cold to heat and back again, "if it turns then your blender door is the issue. if it doesn't then check the voltage going to it, if you do not have any pull the switch out and check for voltage there. If your actuator doesn't move and you have voltage, the actuator is the issue. If you have no voltage at the actuator and you have voltage to the switch it is the switch that is broken. hope this helps you.

2002 mercury sable ac not blowing but heater works any ideas?

Could be a blender door issue. What a blender door does is mix the cold air from the AC with the hot air from the heater core. If you put the switch ALL THE WAY to hot, the blender door (usually an actuator) pushes the door up and allows only air passing thru the heater core to enter the cabin. If you push all the way to cold, it only allows air from the AC. If you put halfway, it mixes/blends the air...

When i turn the ac it sounds like a door closes and heat starts blowing out

This would be a blender door inside the venting. The blender door is controlled by an actuator that moves the door. The vent door can get stuck or the actuator may be faulty.

My 1997 jaguar xj6 blows air but no heat. Can anyone help? I checked all fuses, and AC works.

the only thing that can change the air from hot to cold, or vice versa is the blender door. under your dash is a box which has 2 compartments. one with your heater core which is hot and one with ac which is cold. the blender door basically diverts which on the air in your car is being drawn from. if it is cold, air is moving on the ac side. if its hot, air is moving through the heater core side. if its warm, the door is in the middle. your temperature control knob is conecteted to an actuator, which moves that door. the actuator is a motor, but if it goes out, the door will be stuck on whichever side it is on. i would check that first. hope this helps
