Question about 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe
It's the 'pull' type. Remove the 14mm nut from the fork shaft release lever.
You'll have to manage to remove the release bearing from the pressure plate and return it to its slide shaft at the release fork on the transmission side before you can reinstall the trans (unless of course you're replacing them).
Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.
