No. Your thermostat is located on the engine. Follow your radiator hose it will lead you to the thermostat housing

SOURCE: need wiring color code for a 2000 saturn SL2 for hooking up a trailer light four pin connector

The trailer wires are left turn, right turn, running lights(the smaller elements on both tail-lights and any side lights) and ground. Energise the corresponding lights and connect the wires accordingly. Find a good ground. A piercing test probe will find the correct wire for you if you can't track it to the bulb.

SOURCE: 2000 Saturn SL2 this month I replaced radiator,

first determine if the car is actualy getting hot.dont trust the gauge or fan for these are controled by a temp sensor, if the sensor went bad it will tell you its hot. the other thing it might be is a air bubble trapped in the system

SOURCE: how do i change the radiator on a 2000 saturn SL2?

First drain the coolant, then move the intake out of the way , there are three screws hold it down. After that there is a hose that was kind of under the intake you need to remove that so you can get the cooling fan out once you have that done you have to remove the cooling fan there is a screw on the right side of it the rest of the cooling fan just pops out(DO NOT REMOVE

THE HOSES that may get in the way of removing the cooling fan those are to ur ac so un less u dont want that to work the dont do it). Then u need to get under and remove the plastic covers that protect the radiator there are some scerw behind the radiator u need to remove these cause they stupidly attached the ac cooler thing to the radiator .

After u remove thos u should be fine. there are also some screws and up at the top of the radator that keep it from move around after u remove those and the last hose thats connects to the radiator it should just pull out. after that u just put the new one in and put every thing back.

SOURCE: Howdy!! My 96 Saturn SL2 does not heat up

well you have a problem in that gravity law seems to have been repealed in your driveway. since it is not working anyway drain the radiator, leave the bottom hose off tip the top hose up and pour water in very rapidly. i think you are going to find that there is a major blockage in the radiator.

Where is the thermostat located on a 92 saturn sl2?

The thermostat is normally located in the aluminium elbow that the top radiator hose connects to. The elbow is usually held down by two bolts and it is only necessary to remove these to replace the thermostat. It may not be necessary to remove any hoses. Take care that the new thermostat is correctly located in its recess and the old gasketing has been completely removed and that the new gasket has a smear of gasket cement on it. While tightening the bolts, make sure that the elbow is seating evenly and not catching on the edge of the thermostat or you could crack the elbow.

Where is the thermostat in my 1993 Saturn

when you open the hood and look down, you see the radiator. the radiator is a flat thing with a fan ni a plastic cage attached to it. the radiator has two large rubber hoses connecting it to the engine. where the top large hose connects to the engine is the thermostat housing. so you have to drain the cooling system, take off that hose, remove the housing and the thermostat will fall into your hand. if your heater is not working, replacing the thermostat will not fix it.

Where is the thermostat located

you didnt tell me if it was a sl1 or a sl2 this is how you do the sl2
The thermostat is located right on the front of the engine block. Its not a normal thermostat like you see in most vehicles. It is accually the flange that the lower radiator hose slips on to. Drain your engine coolant, remove the clamp on the lower radiator hose going to to the motor. remove the two 10mm bolts from the radiator hose flange to the motor, and the entire assembly will come out. when you purchase a new thermostat, it will come already mounted in a new housing. Replace the gasket, place the new thermostat in the motor, and reinstall the bolts.

tell me if this helps happy holidays

We can not get my car to start it is a 2001 sl2 saturn

There are only a few things left, check the radiator or send it to a radiator shop to see if it is clogged, if its fine then it should be the water pump. What is the condition of the antifreeze? If it has been neglected the passage ways in the motor and heads could be clogged.
