You can go get a parasitic drain test done on your truck but that would only confirm what you believe. It in order to find out what is remaining on you would have to hook up a scanner to see whats staying on that should not be.

U most likey are not getting voltage out of alternator to the battery , check the large wire coming out of the alternator to the battery it should be 13.75 to 14.25 output if not it may be a heavy fuse like on a 99 tahoe u can take a 6 gauge cable and run from bib post on alternater to the positive on battery. some ford and some gm have a plug in wire harness that has this wire already in the harness, just go to the parts store and ask for a alternator harness to replace it with .this is the only explanation for ur problem.any questions feelfree to e mail me at [email protected]

Have no electrical power

Someone will need to check the fuses and fuseable links (if equipped) to see what is dead and why. Could be a fuse or a bad connection at the battery or fuse box.

Hello,

Based on your problem, that I read fully twice, based on ALL THE things that are dead, this is positively a battery charging system problem.

Meaning this, Sense nothing works including head lights, which would work most likely, and they don't you are going to find this problem in a couple possible places. It appears your battery is dead. Now, listen if your battery is not dead or is good, the cables (positive or negative could be loose, or bad connection. What could also of happened, to cause this is a couple of things. If you have a bad alternator as you were driving it, it would not be charging your battery and actually draining it, with all your electronics on while driving. So, when you parked it, that battery most likely is completely dead or a positive of ground from that battery if loose or poor connection, allow the alternator not to charge battery while driving.

In conclution. Check good the battery, and connections and then the alternator. Now, sense you have no testing equipment as you stated, hard to test the alternator, all you can do, is somehow charge your battery and get car going and try and drive to closest battery place, even auto zone can check your battery cells and your alternator. I hope this helps. Mike

You need to make sure that your getting good conection to your battery. If your alternator is fine, as you stated, you might not be getting a good conection. Your alternator may be keeping your battery alive just enough when your driving. Check all connections. Hope this helps.

2002 Ford F250 V10 new alternator good battery but it dies while you are driving

Does the battery charge even after it drains. Even though it's a new alternator, it could still be bad. The battery could even have a dead cell because it's draining while you're driving. Sounds mainly like the alternator output isn't enough. Internal voltage regulator inside the alternator is usually a big problem, it can't be replaced, except by a new alternator or have yous rebuilt.

2000 jetta has multiple alternator and battery failures

In my case, the instrument cluster was bad, causing the MFI display and radio to go haywire and putting a contstant drain on the battery. $760 to have the VW shop replace it. No problems related to the battery or alternator have occurred since.

Good luck.
