Why won't the ac fan in my 2000 dodge Dakota stop running?

When I use my ac, I turn it off and the car and the fan continues to run until I pull the relay switch.

Cause its burnt out from the worn ac motor drawing too much juice--need a new motor--change the heater core and ac evaporator at the same time-save lotta $

The ac and the fan both work, ac blows cool air, the only problem is that the fan won't turn off. Is that consistent with a burned out ac motor?

Why my A/C condenser fan won t stop running, dodge ram 2008

To clarify, the compressor and fan will run in defrost mode. The compressor and fan runs to dry out the air blowing onto the windshield.
Now if the condenser fan runs in "heat" you may have a problem with the fan relay or the main controller.

2001 dodge dakota sport 4.7. i flushed the radiator, now it won't take all of the antifreeze that is required for refill. help

You have an air bubble. Look for plug on top of the intake manifold next to the thermostat housing, Remove that and fill until coolant starts to run out. Put plug back in loosely and continue filling until no more goes in. Tighten plug and replace your radiator cap. Fill overflow bottle and start engine.

My dodge dakota truck will not start. It has power we tried to pop the clutch too.

do you mean the truck won`t start and run or do you mean it won`t turn over with the key.if it won`t turn over with the key the you may have a starter problem.if you mean won`t start then it could be the fuel pump not working.with someone cranking the motor you should hear the fuel pump running with the gas cap off and listening at the filler neck.or hear it running listening under the truck at the gas tank.if you don`t hear it then you can hit the tack sharply with your hand or a rubber hammer,it hear the pump start to run then the fuel pump needs replacing.if not check the fuses under the dash and under the hood.if they are good then it may be the pump relay in the relay box under the hood and it should be marked on the box or lid.

2000 Dodge Caravan 2.4 L Radiator fan motor will not stop running with engine off.

The fan should continue to run until the coolant reaches the shut-down temperature as determined by a sensor. Check the coolant level, is the van running hotter than it used to? A radiator flush may resolve the problem as build-up in the system can coat the sensor, preventing it from operating correctly.

2000 dodge caravan after engin has been turned off radeator fan continue's to run and won't shut off and run's battery dead

You probably have a bad relay 9burned out) that has overheated and fused terminals-under the hood in the power center box, it should be marked-pull it to stop the fan, and you can probably use another less needed relay to get you buy until you get another. The fan is probably drawing too much power, however and will need to be checked for load to see if it is spec or you will continue to have this problem.

A/C makes 2000 Dodge Caravan run very rough

either your ac radiator fan is not working (Electric fan behind the radiator), or your AC is overcharged, if it works fine except at idle it's the fan, replace it,
often the motor itself is replaced and the rest of the fan is re-used

Check the fan, by turning on the ac when the engine hasn't warmed up yet, if the electric fan is NOT running either the relay or fan motor is bad, usualy the motor

When I am driving my 2000 Dodge Dakota with the A/C on the cold air will stop blowing when I go up a hill or if the truck is under a load when I am pulling a trailer. The A/C does continue to run, but,...

Look on the side of the intake (I forget which side) there is a check valve in the vacuum line to the vacuum supply to the HVAC doors. Replace this check valve (cheap) and should stop the mode switching under load. Also check and make sure there are no vacuum leaks to the vacuum reservoir - location should be on the underhood vac diagram. Sometimes they are part of the battery tray. Also remember A/C cuts out at WOT (wide open throttle) to provide more pulling power/acceleration.

Did you properly gap the plugs when you changed them? Improper spark will cause really rough idling at low RPM like that.
