Question about 1998 Chrysler Town & Country

1 Answer

I have a town and country lxi. Just got it back from a want to be mechanic from the car lot i am buying it from. It starts and runs a day to a week. Then it won't start at all. Something about a plug behind the dash. Now it is making like a ringing noise. It started to burn the belt. The pulleys are all turning. I am a mother with a grandbaby on the way any day now. I need to know what to fix. I keep getting a run around from people who think they know what to do. It is still sitting.

2003 Chrysler Town & Country CODE P1698

My wife has a 97 town and country. For about 2 weeks the instrument panel
was going out then coming back on. A couple days ago it got bad. The van would start and run only several seconds then the engine would shut down.
I took the Instrument panel out and it started and stayed running. I pulled the
PC board found the bad Soder connections and resodered them. Problem
was gone and the P1698 code erased. Best thing is it did not cost me anything and the van is fixed !

The abs light goes on and off in a 2000 town & country lxi (awd) how do I fix this?

The Anti lock Braking System (ABS) is a major component required to ensure safe driving. Don't try and repair it yourself, (unless your a qualified mecvhanic), take it to a certified mechanic or the dealer for repair.

2003 town and country brake problem

Did your mechanic use a DRB III or equivalent scanner before performing the bleeding procedure after installing the master cylinder? This is a requirement by the manufacturer (Chrysler) when bleeding the brake system.
