Washed the engine. . All you can do is give it time to dry really. If you have no spark you got an electrical connection wet. You can go through and try to unplug stuff and blow it dry. That's about it. Needs time to dry out. Hope it helps.

Some engines had a part called an idle control solenoid. This was a part that controlled the air flow at idle. A loose crankshaft sensor could also do this. Then when you have extreme signals from the O2 sensors, the engine will float from lean to rich and back again.

I have a 1992 Lincoln Mark vii lsc. Fuel pump problem!

This sounds like the PCM has taken a turn for the worst. The pcm relay sends power to the fuel relay for 2 seconds to prime the fuel system just before start up.
Then the pcm ungrouds the signal for a prove out.

Temperature switch location 89 lincoln mark 7 lsc

for the temp..check the sensors. your thermostat only controls the water/antifreeze flow. the switch in the trunk may be an engine or fuel tank shut off switch. the speakers' wires may have a short..its also possible that the wires that are connected to the radio may be loose.

1991 Lincoln Mark VII LSC spark plugs and wires

you don't have to worry about a special tool if you are replacing the wires but you will need a 5/8 socket with a rubber boot and an extension and maybe a swival to remove the plugs if there is an auto zone near by they will print you out a diagram for free
