WHERE DO YOU PUT FREON IN A 1999 DODGE RAM VAN

Along the condensor lines, you will find 2 ports that should have screwed on black caps, you will then remove the cap. Dependant on the year, you may need to upgrade the system R-12, vs R-134a; and recharge kits are available at various locations depending where you live. Also, the AC system is charged based on pounds, so be extra careful when attempting a new charge. Some vehicles only require 2 lbs.

How and where do you add 134a to air conditioning on 1999 suburban small port or the large port?

Small port is the suction side of the system. Make sure you have a gauge to monitor system low side pressure. Ambient temperature makes all the difference as to what pressure it should be when full. Probably between 25 and 40 psi.

What color of the ac pipe do i add the 134a freon to in my car

if you are asking if you add refrigerant to the high side or low side, you add it to the low side. the single recharge hose only connects to the low side, which has a smaller connector than the high side. so you can't make a mistake. if the caps are colored red and blue, the blue would be the low side.

AC ports caps are most offen blue in color, they have either a H (hi pressure) or L (low pressure) on the top. You want the one marked L

Location of low pressure port A/c to added 134a

Down low between the radiator and the engine. Look for the cap. Very hard to reach without burning your hand if the engine is hot. I had to rig a much longer hose to add 134a so the can would be upright while putting it in.
