Honda accord doesn't pass 3000 rpm and start jerking

    Problem solved: The alternator was loosing power do to a leaking power steering pump located right above it... In order to do a quick diagnoses if you can unplug the round connector on the back of the alternator, start and run you car around the block! If the alternator is bad it sound run fine... plug it back and take it around again, the systems starts acting up again... change your alternator and fix you power steering pump, if leaking...

Crank angle sensor located in the distributor.. buy a whole distributor from a junk yard. you will save a lot of money

could be anything....throttle position sensorm pedal position sensor, fuel starvation of some kind. dirty filters . Insufficient fuel pressure. You might give much more detail.
A visit to a garage might not be a bad idea though, an on the spot diagnosis might be best

I have an 87 honda accord and it keeps pulling in hi rpm when I drive it it usually stays around 3000 rpm when driving it what could be the problem it jerks it also when I'm driving

It may be caused by a vacuum leak, make sure to check all your hose for cracks and/or hoses that may have popped off

I have a 2001 honda accord 3.0 v6 , i wash the engine after i run it and it keeps shutting down , and also it jerks a lot at 3000 rpm

You got water into the distributor cap. Easy fix though. Unscrew and lift the distributor cap and spray some WD40 in it, which will dissipate/dry the water. Wipe off excess with rag or paper towel and put the cap back on. Now it will run like a Honda...

1: Change your fuel filters and bleed the air out of it.
2: Check all rubber hoses for loose hose clamps and
cracks or leaks.
Almost certainly in one or both of the two points above.

Can't pass 3000 rpm

need to check codes and see if it has oil in it. and go from here.
if the computer sences low oil pressure it sets a rev limiter to try and save the engine. code P1259 i think. 4 or 6 cyl?
