Question about 2003 Ford Escape
If you don't have brake lights check the fuses.

Carfreak was right. Low and behold our brake light fuse was blown. Never in a million years would have guessed that. It keeps blowing now, so we bought a pack of fuses for the remainder of the trip home. There is a short somewhere that we will have to have fixed once we get home.
