Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
This isn't a job easily tackled at home unless you have better than basic mechanical knowledge. Here's my best advise for your somewhat vague query...Check Sears Auto Center ads in the newspaper often for their sales promotions...sometimes they offer free installation, as an example. Understand this, most places will try to "upsell" you on this job. In other words they'll try to sell you things like alignments, road hazard warranties etc. Consumer Reports advise against such warranties and protection plans...So do I.
Secondly, look for a fair local mechanic to do the job for you...Monroe makes a VERY good shock absober for these Buicks.
P.S. chances are the front STRUTS are bad as well (sorry, you WILL need an alignment for this job)
