After removing housing there are 2 clips top and bottom that release the lens. Make sure and use sealant when reinstalling. Good luck and have a great day.

For a 1999 Subaru Legacy does it have just the screw on transmission filter or is there also one in the pan?

I have a 99 Subaru Legacy Outback wagon also. I just changed my fluid & filters. There is a spin-on AND a bolt-in that's inside (you have to drop the pan).

Turn signal replacement 99 outback

Look at it from the inside of the engine compartment. There are two connectors or harnesses. One for the headlights another for the turn signal. I have not had to change mines yet but I think you just take it out by spinning it like a nut on a bolt.

I have a 99 subaru legacy outback trans slip

cheak your fluid level in your transmission as if it is low it wont go into gear properly you will move it from park or neutral to a gear it can take a while before it will kick into gear if you top up the fluid that should fix the problem if it still does it after this take it to a tranmission specalist and have it serviced as the bands may be streched
