It might not have been evacuated (creates a vacuum) and then charged. I would say take it to a shop that can do A/C work and have them evac the system and see if it holds a vacuum for 5 to 10 mins if not there is a leak and he didnt replace all of the system or he replaced with defective part(s)

My 93 caravan 3.3 has abs can i disconnect the system, and go regular brakes.no problem now,i bought used a month ago,and afraid of future repair cost,on standard brakes i can fix,but not abs.please help,

Yes this is an acceptable quick fix if you can stand the ABS light on. You now have non ABS standard power brakes. Folks survived without ABS for many years. I personally hate ABS systems.

check the fuses and the blower motor relay,I believe the relay box is still under the hood in those vehicles and the under side of the cover should have a skematic of what the all are if not the owners manual will.

There is a recall that has something to do with the air/heat system in 2005 Dodge Grand caravans. Recall F01. Here is a link. I had mine done two weeks ago, cost me nothing. My air conditioner was overheating.

1997 Dodge Caravan puts out warm air

Your car uses R-134A, readily available at most auto parts stores. Best bet is to get a refill kit that includes the refill hose (get one with a pressure gauge attached if possible to ensure you don't overfill the system). Recharging is pretty straight forward. Turn the car on with the AC on HIGH, locate the low side AC line (will have a screw on cap). Attach the refrigerant to the hose but don't puncture the can until the other end of the hose is attached to the low side valve. Once both ends are attached, turn the screw on the hose to puncture the can of refrigerant; the car should suction the refrigerant out of the can. Disconnect the hose when the can's empty and check the vents on the AC. If its cold and frost develops on the AC lines under the hood, you're good to go. Best of luck and post back with any questions.

AC

Best place to start is by calling Chrysler owner relations with your vin#. Number to call should be in your owners manual. Sometimes the dealer will fluff you off, but if owner relations says they'll help, then you have a leg up on the dealer.

My 93 dodge caravan wont start.

I had similar problem with Durango and it was the PCM brain -- bought refurbished on online from a Florida company for < $300.00 and no problems since. YOu may want to google refurbished PCM and call the guys at the company and see if they concur.
