If the radio is original for your car call BMW they can tell you from YOUR cars VIN#, iif radio is a replacement you will need the donor cars VIN#

if the problem is with the knob being lose inside the radio, it can be repaired. I have been able to successfully repair every one that came into my dealership. most dealers will not attempt a repair. another alternative is to call a reputable audio installer/retailer and see if they will repair it.

Code PO340 "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction". Now that does not mean that if you simply replace the sensor your problem will be solved. It can be simply loose, cut, or corroded wiring. It can also be something entirely different. This is where diagnostic skills come in.
