Take the battery to Auto Zone for a check. As for the gas gage you would have to drop the gas take and replace the unit, a tough job not wore the hassle. Just keep the tank full.

Double check battery terminals. Corrosion needs to be removed. Otherwise, bad or loose connections. Possibly cable to the starter and solenoid. Could also be bad connections of ground cable. The clicking noise is the starter solenoid It could be bad since a little more "juice" from the jump provided enough more power or voltage to allow a start.
Is this a "repeatable" event? In other words happens over and over and needs the jump?

Where is the fuse for peril gauge in a Citroen c1

Find the problem? No separate fuse for the gas gauge, if the rest of dash and gauges work (the temperature gauge), not a fuse problem.

Take off the electrical connector at the gas tank, find the wire for the fuel sender unit in the tank to the gas gauge, and ground it temporarily to the car body, with the key ON. If the gas gauge needle jumps when grounding the wire, the gauge is good, and the problem is with the sender unit in the tank.

Gas gauge stopped working

It could be that the float in the tank is stuck (need to remove the gas tank to get to it) or tha the wire from the tank to the gauge is bad, or could simply be a bad fuse. Check your fuses first.

Check fuse No. 9 (10A) in the driver's side kick panel fuse box. But if your other gauges are working (speedometer, tachometer, low oil light, etc.) then it is possible that when you jumped the battery you inadvertently reversed the cables and created a reverse voltage. This will impact some of the vehicle electronics. If you feel this might be the case, you should test the cooling system temperature sender to see if it failed. If it did, you should suspect that the fuel gauge drive circuit located in the instrument cluster is also failed.

Fuel gage on 2005 altima is way beyond full. Does

It is either the sending unit in the gas tank or the dashboard gauge, either job poses its own challenges take your pick. If it is the gauge if you were lucky in a couple of weeks it will become unstuck in to pegged out position but that is only if it is a mechanical issue with the needle itself wedged in place.
