Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix
My 2000 grand prix lags and surges during idle, it feels like it misses usually during acceleration, but it actually jerks, it isn't the transmission, but it will pull you forward like you are breaking hard, and then push you back when it catches again. The entire thing lasts the blink of an eye, but it is super annoying. It has also died when I let off the gas while driving.
My Grand Prix did this too and it was old spark plug wires. Replaced them and no more **** that the tranny was messed up.

Sound like torque converter solenoid problems.
