x2 any cebby forum. or tell which end is problematic, or ??? only where to hook it up. it has 2 ends and and adjuster, up top. are all the parts there, that is why I linked the FACTORY parts list and graphic, so you can look and see if the parts are missing.

SOURCE: cant get drum off to replace rear brakes 1994 chevy berreta

For the most part there is a drum spreader that must be backed off,
if there is,you will see a little rubber plug on the shoe plate, looking at
brake from pumpkin, a little flat pry bar goes into this hole and you
spin the little wheel which in turn takes the shoes away from the drum. If you do not back them off,you risk bending the spring hardware. You really should replace the hardware anyway, you also
need some anti seize where the shoe touches the back plate.
What has happened, is the shoes have worn a grove into the drum
so the shoes are higher then the drum, which is holding them on.

The little wheel that spreads the shoes apart,is how the shoes must be adjusted when the new ones are put in. You should take
both sides apart or take a pic, if you forget how these go back together you will look like Fred Flintstone using you feet to stop.
Keep spinning the drum,if you are spinning the little wheel the wrong way the drum will stop turning because the shoes are being applied to the drum.

Any more questions about this and please post back, everyone is more than happy to help you.

Can a 94 chevy cheyenne transmission interchange with a 97 chevy silverado tranmission

Will it physically fit? yes. Will it be a direct replacement any everything hook right up and plug right in? If we are talking about an automatic then no. 1994's wiring was completely different than the 1997. Can it be made to work? possible, but I believe it would be more trouble trying to make it work than if the correct transmission were located and installed. If it is a cost issue where he has a good trans out of a 1994 he might see if a salvage yard will do some partial trading for the correct trans.

94 chevy s10 car stared before putting a new starter in i put in the new starter an nothing happened. i have tried tracing wires and its pretty difficult but i have checked the battery it is fine and...

I know on a lot of these gm starters there is two places you can hook the smaller wire on the starter. If so you probably have it hooked to the wrong one even if you look at the old starter and it looked to be hooked to that one try hooking it to the other one.
