Truck acts like out of gas but i think it still has gas

(Gas not diesel...diesel engines are different.)If your not sure, just put some more in. Also you can check the pump by turning the ignition to the on, don't start, and listen for the pump to pressurize the system. No sound...pump is bad, or maybe just a bad pump relay.

Went around curve and it started to sputter and not take the gas

lost power? from engine? (take gas?)
low fuel, and pump sucked air, the pumps hate that as the EFI pump
is both fuel cooled and fuel lubricated, bad to run them dry ever.
so what are the symptoms.
starts ok?
runs bad. ? elaborate the bad. in detail.
we cant touch your car like a real mech, so.... takes more words than 'take gas"

My gmc jimmy truck starts with starting fluid then stopS

sounds like no gas getting to the carb. plugged fuel filter, fuel line, bad fuel pump. the carb should squirt a little gas when the throttle is pumped. leave ignition off while looking down the carb and pump the throttle linkage to visually check that gas is squirting down the carb with each stroke of the linkage. maybe you are just out of gas!!

The car sat up for some time, but always started, drove, etc.., it has sat up now for about 2 months. if you put ether(?) in it , the car starts but once it evaporates it dies. will not start without...

Could be any number of things. Bad fuel pump, bad fuse, clogged gas line, leaking gas line, faulty electronics to the fuel pump, bad relay. There are a few ideas to start with.

My 2005 Chevy Classic Malibu will not start. Conditions are: overfilled at gas station to where gas spewed out. No problems prior to this. Car would not start. Have pressure in the fuel line, can hear...

Sounds like the fuel pump went bad, or a relay for the fuel pump. My guess it's a fuel pump more likely to have gone bad.

Maybe a coincidence that when you overfilled the gas at the gas station that it put the pump 'over the edge' as far as functioning.

I do not see a connection between overfilling and the fuel pump going bad at that instance, but anything is possible.

Well it sounds like either the fuel pump has gone bad again, common problem when cheaper pumps are used on those cars, or the fuel pump relay may be bad.

Car wont stay started after I start it. Had injectors cleaned out and bought gas from a differrent gas station night before. bad gas?

It could not be bad gas. Consider taking a check on your fuel pump.

Also, try and see that the fuel filter is okay. Fuel pump should be located in the fuel tank.

Good luck.

2000 Chevy Blazer Wont Start

The plug on the fuel pumps are common for being bad and burning up the pumps. But the new pump will come with a new plug.
