Has your battery been changed, or have you had a dead battery? If so it will requir you to program into the radio a code that will unlock the radio. It is generally found on a sticker inside the glove box or on a card that may be with the owner's manual. It is a numeric code of 4 or 5 numbers. Punch them in via the preset buttons

My battery died for my 2007 honda civic and now the radio will not turn now.. it says error code.. how do i fix that ?

----- Error code radio Honda Civic 2007 -----
power on radio, when you see Error code 1 or 2 or 3 ..., power off the radio, press the keys 6 and 1 at the same time, and power on, you'll see the radio serial number, write down this S/N and call your dealer, give him this S/N, he will give you the code (5 numbers), that's it that's all

I need the code to my 1999 ford escort CD player; I took the face off, and now it won't work and keeps giving me random numbers, how can i get the code to get it to work again?

you have to pull the radio out and call ford with the numbers on the back of the radio to get the security code. some dealer wont give individuals the radio code and you have to take them to a certified mechanic so they can call and get the code

I left the car light on overnight and the battery ran down. The battery is fixed but the radio won't turn on. It says error or code. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Hello, your need to code the radio some times if you have the makers Handbook you might find it in there written down if not you will have to contact your nearest Honda Dealer and give them all the information you have about the car, some times just giving them the chassis number will do it.
Hope this information helps you out.

Battery ran down.now radio/clock don't work. flashes Error.can this be reset?

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.
good luck

If you're talking about the Anti-Theft Security code for your radio, I'm fairly sure that only a BMW Dealership would be able to retrieve and reset the radio.

You could also try disconnecting the battery terminals for 10-20 minutes, and see if it resets.
