I would suggest first looking under the seat. You are looking for anything wedged under it. Also look at the seat tracks ( steel rails that run along each side under the seat). Insure that nothing is stuck in the rails. If you don't see anything stuck anywhere under the seat you may have a bad motor. If you shop around you may be able to find a shop that will check it out for free. Ask before they look if the check is free or taken off the cost of the repair. Some places will tell you its free to check it out then charge you a diagnostic fee if you do not have them fix it.

Power seat in 2017 Buick La Crosse making noise

I would take it to a Body Shop as they will be experienced in removing seats.

Likely to be the worm drive that moves the seat on the track. May just need adjustment and grease.

Power seat 2003 Ford escape drivers seat will not move forward or back

If it isn't making noise, check the electrical connection. If its getting power it could be that the motor needs to be replaced. If it just hums when you try to operate it, the motor is either jammed or needs to be replaced.

Power seat in chevy 03 avalance not working

Check the fuse, make sure it isn't damaged/blown. Check the connectors that go to the seat to make sure that it has power going to it. If you hear noise when trying to move the seat it has power, and is probably a bad seat motor and will have to be replaced.

2005 Buick LeSabre heated seat not working

The heated seats have relays that run them. Not quite sure where they are located but. That noise is the relay clicking on and off. They are actually pretty loud. Look for faulty connections to and from the relay and check battery power to both sides of the relay.
