This all depends on whether this is a Windsor engine or a Cleveland engine. The Windsor engine has a 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 firing order. The Cleveland engine has a 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 firing order. You may want to try the Cleveland engine firing order first.

The part number from Ford is as follows: E4TE B3A and its a 28 oz balancer as should your flex-plate or flywheel or a massive imbalance will happen and in seconds take the bearings out of the lower end.
