Do you have a expansion bottle if so when running does water flow into. It usually a small pipe ontop are all pipes getting hot is there oily drops in expansion bottle or radiator? Is there creamy gunk in oil filler cap? Does interior heater get hot? Did you check fuse and also what was the reason for changing fan?

SOURCE: 2006 kia sedona today the heat and a/c just stopped working. There was no loud noise or anything to signal it was breaking. No fan comes on, no compressor kicks in, the lights on the dash don't

Check fuses end relays. Fuse could be blowin. If the lights don,t come on on the heater control panel for the different funtions, Mostly the fuse has (Blowin)

The fan assembly in the passenger side of a kia sedona 2012, is from the a/c or engine?

You are referring to the radiator fans, correct? It looks like one controller for both fans, so they may both operate at the same time, or just one at a time, depending on the programming. I don't think it's as simple as one cooling fan, one condenser fan, like the old days. The conroller's computer can turn them on or off independantly and adjust the speeds as necessary.
What is you issue?

2003 kia sedona over heats but put a new thermostat in it the fans work okay

Make sure the cooling system has been bled of all air and is full. Air in the system can cause overheating.Make sure the radiator cap is functioning properly. Worse case scenario is a bad headgasket.

How do I blead air from kia sedona cooling system

Who said you need to bleed air? Which cooling system? A/C cooling is best left to the mechanics. Your radiator is not a closed system and can be opened to top off and checked periodically. Remember to use a 50/50 mix. Antifreeze and distilled water.

2003 kia sedona ex heat not working

If the engine temp rise while sitting at lights then you have an air flow through radiator problem. Electric fans not working or viscous fan hub is faulty. high heat except at speed may indicate an air lock in the cooling system or coolant level in the radiator. Check at radiator cap not the reservoir.

Kia Sedona- center and third row heating vents blowing cold air

This model has a rear heat/cold blend door actuator. Its an electric motor that moves the duct door from hot to cold. When they wear out, they're usually stuck on the last setting

My mazda melinna s is over heating. the cooling fan on the radiator is not comming on

Hi,
You need to fix the cooling fan immediately. You can start to check the paower input to fan first. If there is power input, now check fan for malfunction. For the newer car model, its fan equipped with temperature sensor. Just go check the sensor for malfunction also. Replace the defective parts to prevent this condition. The car with NO cooling fan can lead to worse condition even it can break your engine block.

Hello! my 02 kia sedona has very poor heat comming out the vents. heat comes on only when I turn the knob to level 4 could this be the blower.

If the heat is poor the first thing to do is make sure all controls are set properly. The temperture control should be set to hottest setting (often colored red). Then if the air is slow comong out of the vents turn the fan (blower) to a higher speed. The fan switch usually has numbers like 1 thru 4. Then check heat output if it is okay your fine. The switch you mentioned is most likely the fan switch since it has numbers. The heat will increase at higher fan speeds since more air is being moved thru the system. Hope this helps.

Fifteen minutes! you have bigger problems than only the fans the fans are controlled by a thermo switch that is heated by the coolant, If you have no coolant the sensor cannot activate But fifteen minutes seems like you may have a headgasket problem and steam cannot heat the coolant sensor.OperationNotesThe electric cooling fan operates when the engine cooling temperature exceeds a certain value. The cooling fan on this engine is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) . The PCM turns the cooling fan ON by grounding the coil of the cooling fan relays when certain conditions are met. When the A/C is requested, the cooling fan will also be turned ON.

Power for the cooling fan motors are supplied through Maxifuses(R). The cooling fan relays are energized when current flows from the fuses in the Underhood Accessory Wiring Junction Block, and through the relay coils to ground through the PCM. The Coolant Fan 1 Relay Control Circuit is grounded for low speed fans operation. During low speed fans operation, both fans run at a slow speed. The Coolant Fan 1 Relay Control Circuit is grounded for high speed operation. During high speed fans operation, both fans run at high speed.

IMPORTANT: When certain Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present, the PCM may command the cooling fans to run all the time. Perform the A Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check prior to diagnosing the engine cooling fans.

For more information regarding the Charging System, refer to Charging System Description , and Charging System Circuit Description in Starting and Charging.

If a problem that involves the low speed cooling fan relay control circuit exists, DTC P0480 Cooling Fan Relay 1 Control Circuit should set. If the problem affects the high speed cooling fan relay control circuit, DTC P0481 Cooling Fan Relay 2 Control Circuit should set. A problem with the ECT sensor should set DTC P0117 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage, DTC P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage, DTC P1114 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent Low Voltage, DTC P1115 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage. Any of these DTCs will affect cooling fan operation and should be diagnosed before using the Electric Cooling Fan Diagnosis.

For more information regarding the Cooling System refer to Engine Cooling Fan Description - Electric, and Cooling System Description in Cooling System.

Here is the electrical schematic and how it all is suppose to work,
