Question about 1993 Ford Crown Victoria
1993 crown vic the check engine light goes on only with highway driving what could it be
It sound like the problem I'm having know. Engine lights goes on temp when highway driving at about 70 to 75 MPH. It then however goes back off. I pulled the codes stored in continuos memory, and got codes 322,336,and 337 which indicated EGR value opening not detected, pfe or dpfe current lower than expected with zero EVR duty cycle, and DPFE or EVP circuit above the current maximum limit of 4.8 volts.
The only way you'll know is to pull the codes. In my case, either the egr value is getting stuck, and/or I have the PDE or DPFE itself.
