Question about 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser
The new injectors will work fine without touching the injector pump...
If the car has done more than 200,000miles I would reccomend you get the injector pump serviced and the timing reset professionally, this will maximise power and economy.

Specialist job ,do not touch or interfere because you will end up with a tow truck bill as well
