You may think that the distributer cap looks good. Its very hard to see if its cracked with the human eye.So i would change the cap. Then see where you go from there.Let me know.pippall.Good luck.

93 plymouth voyager 3.3 has spark and gas but won't start

Had the same problem with my 91 Voyager, just died, it would only start with the peddle floored and then sputter like it was missing or not getting fuel before dying. Went thru everything, ended up being a plugged cat. Popped it loose enough to allow blow by and it started right up.

How come while driving my transmission sometime jerks?

interesting, ricky ? could b anything. fuel filter needs changed, the fuel we use today is garbage, ethanol is bad for our older engines. add some of that new dirt to tank, something360. ??? also, maybe a wire connection is loose., or bad spark plug wires? something is missing its continuity , making the engine miss, not your transmission, u hope ? start with checking your battery conn., clean, tight, etc., replace plug wires, change spark plugs, maybe ? but your plug wires could b the problem. ??? think about it, engine starts ok, its when its running does the problem come up. you have fuel, you need spark, you also need clean air .......... change air filter....... pcv valve......egr valve ?? could b sticking ......you treat yourself good, yes? treat your engine good...whens last time the transmission fluid and filter was changed ??? that could also cause a miss, a surge......yes? i hope this helps you ricky, just use common sence, it always serves me well, good luck, ken

Beeping noise, jerking, and then shuts off

if the beeping is coming from under the dash panel it may be the main fuel pump relay also I would check all the battery and engine grounds

Well where to start i think i just need to wreck the thing well here goes... when i drive my car it is like the fuel filter is clogged or something not getting enough fuel i dunno but when i press the gas...

Replace spark plugs and ignition leads .Lack of fuel will cause it to sputter and cough during acceleration.ignition fault will cause rough and jerky acceleration

Lost pressure in gas peddle

Hmmm well to start the pressure in you gas pedal comes from your throttle body, not your spark plugs. Secondly, there is only one cable going to your gas pedal, the other one is your cruise control cable.

Repair your throttle cable, or the spring on your throttle body is broken. it should be a fairly easy thing to fix.
