Do the ignition lights come on when the key is turned ?
If so I would be looking at the starter motor .....There should be 2 wires going to it , A big heavy one and a little one.
Make sure the little wire hasn't fallen off the terminal on the starter..It's this wire that powers the solenoid and in turn the solenoid powers the starter.
Let me know how you get on .

It's a electrical problem as when you turn the key nothing happens so first thing is get a multimeter and check the starter motor has power when you go to start the engine , check both terminals to and from the battery good luck colin

2013 ford fusion. The battery is good. But nothing works and won't even click when you turn the key. Horn doesn't even work. Can't even put the car into neutral.

check for fusible link failure, ING fuse failure or dirty / loose battery terminals or rusted ground point for battery cable

1997 toyota Rav4 2L will not turn over or start, no clicking sound when turning the key! battery and wires are good and ignition relay switch has been replaced, lights and radio work

Did you check for power going to the starter. could be a connection on that side of things. should be able to pull starter and jump batt to it to see if gear pops out and spins.

Car wont start. power to accessories. wont turn over. wont even click. new battery ad new starter. any ideas?

Hello,
If you not even have a click this narrows it down to only a couple of areas. Most likely it is a ground issue. I for sure would really check your cable and connection from your battery. The hot lead and more importantly the ground that goes to the frame. If it is not clean and grounded real good, you will not even get a click. if you turn key on and hear nothing, it is for sure the connections from battery to ignition. Now, if you can turn on head lights and all that, that mean your getting power to your ignintion and battery is good, now what this means is the connections from your starter that go to the battery are not good. Check those real good. I am almost positive this is going to be a connection problem of starter and battery. keep me posted MIke

Try a new battery and once started check the alternator belt and the alternator itself for good charging.

The ignition switch attached to the column is probally bad, check the small wire to the sloenoid for battery when the key is turned to the start postion, if no battery, your not getting power from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid.

sounds like it. but you could always check the basics before spending a bunch. Check your: battery cables, no corosion or loose fitting. make sure your battery is good and full, pop the caps on the top of the battery and pour in some distilled water if the fluid is not 1/4 of an inch from the top. check all fuses ect...

No electrical. Car worked fine yesterday. Turn key, and nothing.

Either there is a bad connection on the battery (MUST BE METAL TO METAL CONTACT)
Or you could have a bad ignition module. Most likey cause is battery or connections
