Problem for Oldsmobile 2001 Aurora

1999 Buick LeSabre ,all of a sudden lifters start making noise.

Just bought a used 1999 Buick LaSabre, drove it around, then got it home and started it up and right away the lifters start knocking. why would it do that so of a sudden? and what can I do? Calling Dealer first chance I can to tell them the problem.

First thing is to check oil level, and add oil if needed but yes, call dealer also and explain. Let us know what they say.
