The factory reset code is behind the glove box. To see the code you'll need a flashlight. No other tools.
First, empty the glovebox and open to stops then gently bend those stops at the top of the glovebox in to clear the trim. Swing box down and allow it to hang. Next, you'll see several wiring looms in the right section of the area behind the glovebox. Behind that is the ECM, the componenet you're looking for. It's mounted facing the left side of the truck with a code label on it, so it's a little hard to read. Get a piece of paper and write down the only 5 digit code printed on the label. It's bold face and is one of the bigger numbers but not the biggest. Once you have the code, write whatever 5 digit you want your new code to be on same piece of paper. Go to drivers door, lock truck completely. Enter the factory code into the keyless entry, and within 5 seconds press the 1-2 button on the keyless entry the enter your new code. The truck should unlock. SuPER EASY!!

Master reset code for keyless entry ford f150 2004

. If the master code or owner selectable code is lost or forgotten, the GFA RF keypad must be replaced. These codes are not stored in any vehicle module (with the exception of 2004 F-Super Duty vehicles produced prior to 12/3/2003).

Lost keyless entry code

Keyless entry code was on a small strip attached to the left trunk hinge in my 94 T-Bird. It wasn't anything fancy just a 1/4x2" strip with 5 numbers on it Your owners manual should give you the location, but mine was kind of vague like drivers side of trunk.I hope this helps

I just purchased an expidition 2003, the car lot does not have the code for the keyless entry how can i locate this

In most cases the dealership where it came from placed stickers under the hood, in the door jam, and under the rear hatch. It will be a 5 digit number that can also be found in the vehicle manual if you have these. If none of these exist then the ford dealer will be able to find it for you for a small charge by hooking up to the vehicle computer.

Key Pad Entry does not work

does the key pad light when you press a button at night? If yes, the fuse is ok.
Do you have the plastic card with the permanent code in your owner manual packet? If yes, tryit.
report back.

Keyless Entry The keyless entry keypad is hardwired to the GEM. The GEM interprets the inputs from the keyless entry keypad and then controls the associated operation. The keyless entry keypad will be illuminated for five seconds when any button is pressed. Additionally, it will request the illuminated entry feature to turn the courtesy lamps on. If a lock all doors code is entered, the illumination will turn off, as well as request the illuminated entry feature to turn off the courtesy lamps. When pressed, the keyless entry keypad supplies the ground signal to the GEM or the GEM receives a signal from the keyless entry remote transmitter. Then the GEM outputs a ground signal to the appropriate lock or unlock relay which supplies the power to the actuator to lock or unlocks all doors, including the luggage compartment. The keyless entry remote transmitter also unlocks the liftgate or activates the panic alarm by sending a signal to the GEM.

Keyless key pad entry code

Ford cars and such will put a sticker on the hinge or back gate with the numbers on it. It will just be a white sticker with black numbers. A five digit code.

God Bless Greg
