Question about 2001 GMC Yukon XL
MY 2005 YUKON XL HAS BEEN GIVING ME PROBLEMS!! WE THOUGHT WE HAD BAD GAS. IT GOT BETTER THEN IT GOT WORSE!! TODAY I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THEN THE REDUCED ENGINE POWER LIGHT CAME ON. I STOPED AND THEN PROCEDED TO GO HOME, THEN THE RPM JUMPED ALL THE WAY TO 3 I PUSHED THE GAS AND IT HAD NO POWER!! THEN THE TRANMISSION HOT LIGHT CAME ON!!!! WHAT COULD THIS MEAN? MAYBE MY TTRAMISSION IS GOING OUT?
HELP ME PLEASE
Id start with a trouble code scan, if the CEl came on it logged a code, have it read and start there, on some models you can disconnect the neg batt terminal for 5 min to clear and reset the codes.
