Question about Isuzu Rodeo

I need someone better than me! 1997 honda passport, 3.2 auto. car has had starting and driving problems. When put into drive gears, it fell on its face i changed the trans filter and fluid and wham, it ran fine all day yesterday. this morning it would not start. has spark and good fuel pressure. I replaced the fuel pump, filter and pressure regulator last week, also intake gaskets. just now it still would not start and the fuel gauge showed empty, and it has a half tank. low fuel light is blinking as well. it use to only do that in drive when it fell on its face, where do i go next? no fault codes as well. never had a CEL on.

    tank has 11 gallons, pump is submerged, contacts on float are in good contact, fuel pressure when cranking is great, injectors ohm out fine.........

Try sticking a can of petrol in just to satisfy me then try again and see what happens ,wouldnt be first time er indoors has crept out on the razzle and took a fella out whilst iam working ,dont mind that as it saves me another boring chore,but hey ,,,paying for someone to take er out ??and using my jag

    hmmm got to dream about this one i think ,honda?? 1997? this is one of the first of the newer type of electronics i think with a computer to change gear and not a manual type gearchange with a vacumn pipe and pressure valves .This will require someone who has worked on these ,like a dealer fitter ?? so iam suggesting taking it to a dealer who will have a fitter thats come up against this before and knows what to do and not what to spend you hard earnt cash on,have a feeling this could be anything from a dodgy earth around the ECU area or a chip going home in the ECU either way without another car the same alongside to swop the bits over its difficult to advise .

My 98 Honda Passport stalls everytime I park the car. I get a jump, it drives fine and then stalls once I stop the car.

How long is it since you replaced the car battery ? If the battery is old it can not store the full voltage any more, the problem is made worse in cold weather. If you have had the battery more than 3 years, and you have this problem, it is definitely time to buy a new battery.

check fluid level with handbrake on and in reverse ,chock under the wheels as well for safety ,sounds like its low on fluid but who knows till you check it ?

My 1998 honda passport is stuck in 1st gear and won't come out. How do i get it driving properly?

No idea to be honest ,lot of good i am i know but autos are not my fortay ,best thing i can come up with is to fit a manual gearbox as they never give problems ,most likely cause is either a faulty computer or something wrong inside the gearbox which in this country is not repairable as no spares sold for a auto box only a exchange unit complete .Could you have a problem with the selector cable by any chance ,from afar i couldnt tell you .

I have low exceleration when i take off

Only recently has my 97 Honda Passport been acting like the transmission slips...I'll be in Drive and the revs jump from 2 to 5 or 6; I'll drop it to 3, and it settles down. Last week, I was in Drive, then went to 3...then back to Drive and it jumped...and the Check Trans light came on.

sounds like u are having front drive line problems. the press button 4x4s are not a good idea to have. transfer cases go out very easily. so check front drive line.

My gas petal used to stick on the jeep so i spray up in there on the petal to stop it from sticking ore the brake light woud stay on becuse petal got stuck try some WD40 just dont sray on your petal ok might work

the gas gauge contacts get corroded by the chemicals in your gasoline over time, the only way to fix that is to replace the fuel sender unit...unfortunately the sender unit is usually incorporated into the fuel pump. fuel delivery problems like you describe could be clogged or dirty fuel injectors...if it's dying out on you as you drive it probably is indeed the fuel pump...usually an expensive fix. try an auto wrecker to find one for about 100 bucks.
