Question about 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue
86 chrysler 5th ave .... car basically has no balls, runs at around 40km/h and can barely make it up some hills. some diesel accidentally ended up in my tank a couple days ago so we changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, unhooked and shot the hoses clean with an air compressor, took the tank off and drained the tank and pat dried all of it, just changed the coil and spark control module in the last few days as well, after doing that it ran well for a short time than decided to run like ****. whats wrong? help greatly appreciated!
Sounds like you may have a clogged catalytic converter. There are most likely three on your car, two pre-converters and one main converter. If you can loosen them, disconnect the exhaust on each side from the manifolds and try driving the car. If converters are the problem it will run much better. After-market converters are available through sources in the internet for a reasonable price.

Sounds like your cat converter has become clogged from diesel....take it to a smog tester to see if cat is bad
