Question about 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt
I've noticed that many cobalt owners are having the same issue with the steering. I'm hearing different stories on what it would take to get it fixes. Most are saying it is going to be expensive to fix even though it's just like a short in you electronic power assist. It is said that the steering system would have to be replaced. I'm hoping that's not true but like i said this is what most are saying that have had the same problem
Well it's happening again. I wrote about the powersteering on my 2006 cobalt back in March of this year and my husband dried out the stuff (lack of the right word) and it seemed to be ok now its started up again and it's worse if I pull over and cut it off and then recrank it it's ok for a few miles (give or take a few) but I want to know why they have not recalled this problem from what I'm seeing on different websites (youtube : 2006 chevy cobalt recalling being one of them) this problem GM needs to take care of
