Question about 2005 Buick Rainier
Fog lights are off, replaced fuse 15 amps and turn on lights couple of times. then blew the fuse again. Replaced the fuse and blew it again.
Lamps are original parts.
Q: What can be done in order to prevent from blown fuses?
Obviously a short somewhere. Check sockets for corrosion, rust etc where current could be traveling across, as well as take a look at wiring into rear if you can get to it. One other thing you could try to isolate, would be to try one bulb in at a time, perhaps one will cause fuse to blow & other won't, which will give you a reference point to start looking.
