Question about 2007 Saturn Outlook
I cannot open my liftgate on my Saturn Outlook. My warranty ran out at 36000. Hope there is an easy solution out there.
There is a small plastic cover on the inside of the liftgate near the center. Pry it off with a small screwdriver and you'll have to probe around a bit with a larger flat screwdriver, but there's a small lever in there that will trip the latch. Is it a power liftgate by chance???
I have parts if needed...

If you have the same problem I did it is the electronic switch in the rear hatch. The seal around the handle is not that great and leaks water, this causes corrosion and stop the mechanism from working. Mine would only work on occasion on warm sunny days. I had to have the switch replaced on warranty.... check with your dealer.
