Not 100% sure on a beemer but look at hinges for bolts attaching either at door post or to door itself. Prior to removing, pull off door panel & look for way to remove/disconnect all wiring harness's, either at door, or behind kick plate inside car. use a safety stand or something similar to hold weight of door when ready to remove. There are some cars where you can simply tap door pins out.

the first thing that i would do would be to take the inside panel off and disconnect all of the wiring that comes into the door from the vehicle and then remove the bolts that are holding the door to the frame.
