Help i need to know if camshaft position sensors on 2009 hhr 2.2 are both the same on front and back

No they are different, in basic terminology the front one is reading off the cam for the engine timing, while the rear one is reading for the fuel / air mixture, at least this is what the Chevy mechanic told me.

Location and replacement procedures for the cabin air filter

It's behind the glove box. They're are 2 clips one on each side of the glove box you release those and the glovebox door drops down farther and you will see the cover for your cabin air filter. Take the old one out and slide in the new one it's about a 10 min fix.

How do I replace the air filter?

There are two large diameter hoses going to the plastic air filter housing on the top of the engine.Hose clamps hold the hoses on.Loosen one clamp on each hose. Then grab the back corner on the assembly and lift up.The assembly should come off of the top of the engine. At the back of the assembly you should see some screws.Loosen the screws and the back cover should come off giving you the ability the remove and replace the air filter. When reinstalling the cover be sure to align the rubber grommets under the assembly onto the pins with the rounded tops that stick up from the engine area.Do not forget to tighten the two hose clamps.

How do I replace the air filter in my 2006 HHR

Steps:
1) Remove the lower clamp from the front rubber hose (air horn)
2) Pull up on the entire housing (gently but firmly ... don't yank it) and disengage it from the engine
3) loosen and remove the clamp to the flexible air intake hose on the right side of the engine (at the air cleaner side ince the hose goes through the wheel house)
4) With the air cleaner housing removed from the engine compartment, turm the housing over and remove the seven screws holding the lower part of the housing to the upper.
5) Remove and replace the filter element
6) Re-assemble in reverse order

Air filter on chevy hhr

The air filter is in the large plastic cover that covers the engine.
1. Remove MAP sensor connector ( slightly hidden under the front center edge of the housing. Wiggle slightly and pull straight out).
2, Loosen (but don't remove) the large hose clamps on the passenger side and center of the housing, It's a tight fit for the hands on the passenger side and the head of the clamp is facing away from you. The front center hose is stiff, but pliable, so take your time.
3. The air filter housing was designed as a snap in with rubber grommets. A firm steady pull with the front passenger side will show you how much effort it will take to pull it free. Do each of the remaining two separately. The housing will be free to remove from the vehicle.
4. On a clear area, turn the housing over and loosen the seven torx type screws (they will not come completely off, so as not to lose them). Pull the cover off. Remove the old filter and replace with your new one. Align the cover and snug the screws back in.
5. Reassembly requires lining up those rubber grommets to the mounting studs.... take your time.... all that is needed is a firm downward push to seat them.
6. Reattach the large hose clamps and remember to plug in the MAP sensor (you'll get an "check engine" light if you forget.

Hope this helps.
