I dont think its something wrong with your ECU. The hazard lights are conected in your car directly to hazard light switch. This switch can be wake up due to alarm or shifter. The most important thing is you have brand car alarm or custom. If i knew the answer i can help you easy.

SOURCE: my 99 vw jetta will not turn over

Check your battery cables for tightness, especially your ground cable. Now you have a new battery, so you have eliminated that as the source of the problem. Turn on your headlights, do they go out or very dim when attempting to start the car? If so, you have a poor electrical connection somewhere - loose cable, bad cable, possibly bad ignition switch.

SOURCE: hazard lights wont stop flashing and car wont turn over.

unlock driver door twice consecutively because that's how u disarm the car alarm. As for the radio, input the code that's in ur booklet. If u don't have it, call ur local dealer with the car's serial number and they will give u the radio code. It's 4 digits.

How to reset my cobra alarm without a fob after push button in cab was activated. I have code.

Go to the cobra site, trouble shooting. Never have put an alarm in. But have tore out hundreds of them. Anytime I get a No start or problems like yours. I look under the dash for after market alarms and remote starts. I would tell you up front, That system has to go. 99.5% of the time, when I take them out and fix the wiring. The cars starts and has no problems. The best alarm systems last 5 to 7 years. Cheap ones, your lucky to get a year out of them. Like I said, when I see them, they have to go before I do anything else.

Car battery went flat an tried jump starting an didn't work put another battery in an now wont start an hazard light an all other lights are flashing

Battery went dead or replaced, it set the alarm. Some alarms can be reset with the key, some with a scanner, some at the dealer. Year, make , and model would be helpful.

I have a clarion rk20 keyless entry and remote start on my 2003 jeep grand cherokee it works fine but whenever i remote start it, its parking lights continue to flash as if the hazard lights were on?

After doing some poking around, I found that flashing parking lights are an indication that the remote start is being used. According to the information I found, the parking lights shouldn't keep on flashing after your 2003 Grand Cherokee has started. I am assuming that your parking lights, however, continue to flash even after the engine has started and you have put your Jeep into gear. Please let me know if that is the case as if it is then you likely have a short somewhere in the wiring that is telling your alarm system's brain that the remote circuit is still being used.

In order for something like this to happen, the major power line is usually pulled high when the remote is activated. When it is pulled high, the computer tells your car's parking lights to enter flash mode. What should happen next is that when the system has fired, the line should drop back to standard voltage and, at that point, the change in voltage should tell your parking lights to go back into standard mode.

What is happening instead is that the flasher light activation circuit remains high even after it is supposed to reset to normal.

The usual cause of this is a short somewhere on the input side of the alarm circuity. It is this side of the circuitry that pulls the parking lights into flash mode. It may be as simple as a short in the alarm system's switching wire harness (even something as simple as a loose crimp on a spade connector or a molex plug insert can cause it.

If you do not have easy access to the switch wiring, the wiring harness or loom, I would suggest taking it to a good alarm shop, telling them what is going on and having them trace the circuits until they find the troublemaker.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Park lights and dash lights won't stop flashing

There is a small black box under dash by steering column that has a little red button on it. Push that button and it will reset the alarm. Whenever the power is removed from the system it will trigger that alarm and flash your lights. Easy quick fix. Box is about 4" x4" and just to the left of the column. Good luck and have a great day.
