If drl doens't work, these car wires are prone to corrosion, start under battery tray, there is a herness connector there, reuncontinuity test to all headlight wires

Where is the fuse located for the daytime running lights on a 2005 Chev Siveraado?

It is located in the underhood fuse/relay box , marked DRL 10 amp fuse ! Also if that is good check the DRL relay in the same fuse/relay box .Your light sensor could also be bad .
The daytime running lamps (DRL) will operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position, for automatic transmissions (A/T), the gear selector is not in the PARK position, the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, and for manual transmissions (M/T), the park brake is released. When these conditions have been met and the ambient light sensor indicates daytime conditions, the DRL will illuminate. The ambient light sensor is a light sensitive transistor that varies its voltage signal to the body control module (BCM) in response to changes to the outside (ambient) light level. When the BCM receives this signal it will either turn on the DRL or the headlamps for auto headlamp operation. Any function or condition that turns on the headlights will cancel the daytime running lamps operation. The DRL can be manually turned OFF by depressing the AHL/DRL switch in the headlamp switch
Do you know that on inside of fuse box lid it shows what fuse is what .

Where is fuse or relay for instrument lights on 95 geo metro

i see your other anonymouse post.
the head lights are dead. rigtht, key off?
test the head lights, DRL is not part of starting forget DRL for now.
just use manual head lights to see if battery has power.
they must be bright.
the battery must read 12.6vdc rested, does it? (voltmeter)
are you in CANADA WITH DRL (They have it we dont USA)

the 2 HL fuses must be good , headL and HEADL
when you turn the HL switch to on, the relay closes HL relay
it apples, a ground to the low beam lamps and they both glow
see red arrows below
do they? or not. and battery must be 11vdc cranking minimum.
a dmm meter is only $10 at walmart, and is less that the parts
you have already guessed wrong.

Right side parking lights

usa car, not Renegade or export car. nor DRL lamps.

fuse, can look good but be bad.
use any ohm meter, to make sure they are good. 0 ohms good.
the car can have park-tail relay. yes, it does have a park relay
that feeds 2 fuses (#7&9) then all lamps left and right.
the BCM controls the relay. body brain.

check voltage at all 4 pins of park relay, and bingo know who is messing up,?
pins 86/87 hot 12v all the time( battery)
87a = ground 0v all times.
30 is relay output, 12v park on.
85 pin is relay coil control. 0v park, 12v not park.
if you have 0v on 85 , in park the BCM is working

there is start.
if a fuse is blown to the BCM, it will mess up

I need to know were to find the DRL Module for a 2003 F-150 4x4. My hi and low beem lights work ok , and the auto light sencor works . Its that my Day time running lights do not come on .

The wiring diagram does not show a stand alone drl module for the 03 f150. However it shows 2 drl
relays located in aux. relay box #2 located behind the right side of the dash, left of the glove box.
Also there is the drl resistor located behind the grill, right of the left headlight. Relay #1 is fused at
fuse #5-15a in the fuse block under the left dash. Relay #2 uses fuse #26-10a under left of dash.
Hope this helps.

2000 Mustang, DRL issues

Could be the DRL relay. Simple fix (at the cost of losing your DRL's) is simply removing the fuse for them. Not sure if your's is a V6 model or not - but this is the only fuse diagram I have. You would be looking for the fuse designated as "V". Hope this helps!

DRL

Most DRL's are controlled by a relay. The relay malfunctions after a while. Need to go to the dealer and purchase a DRL relay. Once you see what it looks like open hood and match it to the bad one, then replace. If you can not locate it the library has mechanical books for you make and model to look up location of the drl relay.

Dash light DRL stays on

Bad solders in DRL relay located left side of steering column below change drawer behind dash. It will be indicated with a stamp DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY. Remove it and redo the solders to the relay contacts in the unit. This will fix the DRL light in dash, return the DRL system to functioning and will also fix headlight not working problem.
