Some cars have a manual sun roof closer. It's usually in the ceiling in the back seat, behind a plastic plug. Remove the plug and insert an allen wrench to close the sun roof.
theres a way to close it by taking off the panel above that covers the motor and putting a allen wrench into the middle of the motor unit and turning it i think clockwise. If the gears are stripped it wont work...but if its just the motor then manually turning the gear should close it. I figured out which way it needed to be turned to close then put a allen attachment on my cordless drill and made it easier cause it will take awhile
On my 2004 Sebring 4 dr sedan under the front of headliner is the motor for sun roof it has a slot for a metric allen wrench. You can manually crank sun roof closed. Last week I had to do this to my car.
plastic lining on runners tend to crack and lift causing roof to stick. can remove plastic but roof will rattle when closed. to close manually, open small cover on roof lining in front of sunroof and crank roof closed with an3mm allen key.
Try checking the fuse first, it could be that simple. Some times there's is a place to manually crank it closed, that's covered up by piece of small trim on your headliner usually before the sunroof opening or after. Good Luck
