The maint. required light is for oil changes there are about 4 different ways that honda has to reset these and it deoends on the vehicle. So try these. Push in the trip reset button and hold it down while turning the key to the ON position(no start) hold it down till the light goes out. If there are two buttons on the left side of the dash that say SEL and TRIP turn key to ON then hold both buttons at same time, when light flashes let go and hold both down again till light goes out. If these don't work, youre owners manual will say or take it to your local oil change place, they should know how to reset it also

I suspect that the TCM is playing up but without a proper code reading it is difficult to say. Why do you not take it to autozone as they do scanning for nothing.

Turn off 10,000 mile eng light

Is it the Maintenance Required light? If so, Turn your car off - hold in the odometer and turn the key half way on. Hold for about 4 - 5 seconds. Your odometer should start blinking and your light should go out.

Mant Req reset ligth

Hello, My name is JShreader. Thank You for choosing

There is 2 ways to do this on this year model...depending on the Month the vehicle was manufactured. 1 is using the Key Slot on the Cluster (on the earlier models). You can do this by inserting the ignition key into the slot located on the front of the instrument cluster lens. When reset, the indicator's colored tab will return to green.

The other way (on the later models) is to use the Reset Button on the Cluster. With the Ignition Switch 'OFF', press and hold the Reset Button. Now turn the Key to the 'ON' position (not starting) while continuing to hold the Reset Button. Hold the Reset Button down for more than 10 seconds. Your Maintenance Required Light should now go out.

I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader.

This light comes on to rermind you to service the car ( oil, filters ect ) you can turn this off when you start the car by making sure the odometer is showing ( not the trip meters A or B ) and hold in the reset button for the trip meters and turning the ignition switch all the way forward. When this is done the odometer will start to show dashes and when the dashes are gone the light will be reset.

Reset maint req

Reset - step 1 turn the key to the 'on' position. using the trip meter button, toggle the lcd until 'ODO' is displayed. step 2 turn the key off. now, push and hold the trip meter button. while holding the trip meter button, turn the key to 'on'. step 3 while you continue to hold the trip meter button, you will see on the lcd disply five (5) small dashes and they will begin to 'count down' rather quickly. step 4 continue holding the trip meter button and once all the dashes have been cleared, your lcd will display six zeros (000000) - release the trip meter button now - and then the lcd will display 'ODO' and your current mileage. at this time, your 'maintenance required'/oil change light has been reset.
