MY WINDOW WILL NO LONGER STAY UP, AND I CAN'T ROLL IT UP OR DOWN. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO BOTH FRONT WINDOWS AND THE RIGHT REAR OVER A FOUR YEAR PERIOD.

THE MOTOR STILL RUNS, BUT THE GEARS ARE STIPPED OR BROKEN. THIS APPEARS TO BE A WEAKNESS OF THE FACTORY PART (3 OUT 0F 4 HAVE BROKEN). I AM LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON OTHER MANUFACTURERS. BTW: I HAVE NOT LUBRICATED THE TRACKS OR MAINTAINED THE WINDOW GROUNDS.

are u keeping the window glass run tracks lubricated with spray silicone? are the window ground's clean and tight? have you tested the driver side master switch?

I would try autozone or CAP, they seem to have quality parts, and if they dont you could always go back to the dealership and ask them if they can help you out, do you have a warrenty? If so they have to replace them.

you could try doing an online google search for 93 toyota camry window motor manufactures. Maybe you could get a list of the different ones out there.

1aauto.com sold me a lifetime warranteed front window motor for $66.95. I have done research and found that the cheaper $30-40 window motors are all junk, made in China, and often break within a year. I bought this motor from 1aauto because of the lifetime warranty and the free shipping they offered ont he part. The part arrived within 2 days of my ordering and it was relatively easy to install.

I have a 93 Toyota Camry and windows locks don't

Sounds like you need to find the fuse panel and check for blown fuse's first. Could also be the switches are bad as well. The car is 18 years old and things have just worn out. The guys and gals at just about any auto parts store are more than willing to help you figure out what is wrong and/or refer you to a good shop.

Driver side window will not roll up?

window sounds like it came off the track. you have to take off the door pannel and unbolt windoe from regulator and try to line it back up in window track. Make sure window run is is good shape and not ripped or streched or bunched up anywhere.

I cant locate the fuse for the power windo of toyota camry '93. i have a new switch, none of the switch is working.if i can locate the fuse for the power window , i guess i can fix it.

the power window fuse, which is linked to several other systems, should be in the kick-panel fusebox on the driver's side. there should also be a circut breaker for the motors, probably behind. the glovebox

Power window toyota camry

Fuse box is by drivers left knee. Above this are the flashers and about 3 inches above this is the circuit breaker for the windows and door locks. breaker is silver, about 1/2 by 5/8 inch and in the center is the button you need to push in to reset. I used an unbent paper clip to press it. Make sure unit is not energized. May need to unplug breaker first. Press in center button until it clicks.
