Question about 1999 Honda Accord
I have a 1996 Buick Roadmaster. In hot weather, I can be going down the road and without warning the motor just shuts down and I lose all power (even the cruise control light won't come on!). I can let the car set for 3 or 4 minutes, then it will start up again. If it is running smoothly, I can go, but if not I shut it off and sit for a little longer, then it will start. I have had it to a garage, but they can't seem to find the problem.
Sounds like fuel vapourisation creating an air lock in the fuel lines. Might be worth checking for damage on any heat shields protecting the fuel lines.
