Some more modern OEM radios have the ability to add a usb mp3 exansion you can purchase and plug in. try searching for an upgrade like this online. if not then consider an aftermarket unit that has usb control for your mp3

My 2006 9-3 single cd player doesn't work, doesn't even light up=any suggestions on getting it to work?

Best bet honestly is purchase an FM transmitter which are small compact and powered with cig lighter plug . Then just plug your phone or MP3 into the unit and u tune the transmitter to your car radio and play your music thru car stereo. Cd's always get scratched lost etc so maybe the above worth a try and about 25 to 30 bucks max .. Nick

I have a factory radio in my yukon and want to use my Ipod in the truck. Does it have a usb connect and how do I get to it?

if it has a cassette player, get a cassette that has an mp3 attatchment at the end, could be bought at a radioshack, if no cassette player, then get an fm transmitter, it hooks up to your ciggarette lighter, if it has none of those, then get a new stereo headunit.

Where do you plug in your mp3 player on a santa fe

Unfortunately there is no Auxiliary Output Jack on the 2007-08 Hyundai Santa Fe, if you want to use a MP3 Player you can use a FM Stereo Transmitter Module where you can listen to it on a free FM Channel or you can change the complete Head Unit (Radio) to a aftermarket one with that feature.

The radio works properly. But the player does not play Audio CDs! It kinda gets stuck with the first track and then nothing happens!

as the cd player has no servicable parts for you to play with, when they go wrong they go in the about converting all your cd s
to mp3 and buying an fm transmitter, then you can play your whole cd collection on any fm radio.think santana in your mums car.......

Does a 1998 chev tahoe have an AUX feature to hookup an mp3 player?

If there is no input on the radio front panel then you don't.In 98 this was not available on most domestic vehicles. You don't really need this feature to play an MP3 player thru your vehicle radio. Here is a cheap solution buy a FM transmitter in Canada it's about $10.00 and play your Mp3 player thru your car audio radio.

There is no easy inexpensive way to hard wire an MP3 player into a factory stereo from 1994.

But there are 3 possible solutions and the first 2 should be less than $50.00

1. Use an FM transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack on the MP3 player, you tune the existing radio to the transmitter frequency.
2. If it is a cassette deck there are cassette adapters also, uses direct contact with the heads on the cassette deck to play the MP3 -- getting hard to find these.
3. Have a shop put an FM Modulator in the antenna line that has a plug that will fit the headphone jack of the MP3 player. Most expensive of the 3 solutions but will have the best sound of the 3.
