You have to remove the console and radio pod. Then remove 2 screws that you can now get to behind the pod. Then pry out the dash light dimmer switch (the one you use to adjust dash light brightness) remove the screw behind it that holds in the gage cluster trim. Then there is another switch on the other side under the cluster (don't remember what it is) and there is another screw behind it. Have fun, LOL!

1995 honda accord dash lights go off when headlights are on, how expensive is it to fix?

I had similar problem with Honda 2000 model. Dashboard light goes out when head light is switched on, AC comes on and off intermediately suggesting partial contact. Solution. Body negative earth wire by the front passenger seat just underneath the glove box towards the door hinges was failing. Reconnected and problem solved

After 90,000 mile tune up on our '03 accord, the ac blower does not work.

No airflow from the dashboard air duct vents? a common failure is the blower motor transistor... It's located under the passenger dashboard mounted on/in the (heater, ventalation and a/c) HVAC box. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the three screws. Pull it out of the box. Replace/reinstall it and recheck.

Remove dashboard from honda accord S/W

I don't think removing the dashboard will help much. All the 1995 Accords I've worked on the ECM is under the right front carpet. Take a look and see if your is the same.

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Remove right door sill molding. Pull carpet back to access ECM. Remove ECM cover screws. Unplug ECM connectors. Remove mounting screws. Remove ECM.

Replacement of heater core on 1996 accord

The freon must be reclaimed from the ac unit.
From the passenger side of the vehicle the heater case is removed, both the evaporator core and the heater core come out with this module.
This is a 7 hour job total. Then the ac must be recharged

You need to discharge the AC system and remove the evaporator to replace the expansion valve. No two way about it.

No need to remove the dash
